Vegetal Biology II
This course comprises the study of diversity, morphology, anatomy, life cycles and evolution of algae. More emphasis on marine macroalgae from central-southern Chile and identification using morphological, vegatative and reproductive features is given.
 

Ecology and conservation of macroalgae
This course comprises the study different aspects related with algal ecology and conservation. Work and discussion of different topics such as: dispersal patterns, connectivity, algal distribution, experimental ecology, phenology, effect of human and natural perturbations on macroalgal communities among others.
