Dr. Joe Zuccarello
Joe is a lecturer at School of Biological Sciences, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, where he has been for several years. He is interested in algal evolution and biogeography. He also studies macroalgal taxonomy.
Joe is Vice-President/President Elect of the International Phycological Society and Associated Editor of Journal of Phycology and Phycological Research. |

Florence is assistant professor at Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción, Chile. She has a broad experience in phylogeography, molecular analysis and evolution of macroalgae. |

Dr. Erasmo Macaya
Erasmo is assistant professor at Departamento de Oceanografía,
Facultad de Ciencias Naturales y Oceanográficas,Universidad de Concepción, Chile. He has interest in algal taxonomy, ecology of floating macroalgae, defenses of macroalgae, DNA barcoding of macroalgae and genetics of kelp populations. |
